Hurst Horticultural Society

Our society is very much geared to the local community, so please come along and give us a try.

- Bob Baker, Session Leader -

H.H.S is a local gardening community, run by volunteers since 1939, selling all types of garden equipment, plants, shrubs, bulbs, compost and fertilisers. We also stock some household chemicals. We offer advice and guidance on most garden problems and projects in an informal and friendly manner. Our products are of top quality ad discounted so prices are generally cheaper than garden centres.
Being  social group we offer free tea and coffee to our custmers and most Sundays cakes and biscuits are available.
The large car park at Hurst enables us to deliver heavy items safely to the boot of your vehicle.
The society stages several social functions throughout the year, including two quiz nights which are held in the main hall of the Community Centre., together with two trips to botanical gardens and one to  a south coast seaside resort.
